What is a "DC" or "IFMCP"?
Dr. Montana is a "DC" or "Doctor of Chiropractic" however she does not practice like a traditional DC who provides an "adjustment". She is an acupuncture & functional medicine specialist indicated by her credentials "IFMCP" which stands for Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner.
Can you be my primary care doctor?
Because functional medicine is a specialty, we ask that you do not indicate Dr. Montana as your primary medical contact. It is best to select a physician who can provide acute care in the form of prescription medications, if necessary.
Do you accept insurance?
We are out-of-network with insurance, however, there are a few routes to utilize your benefits with Cultivate Wellness. One option is to seek reimbursement from your carrier with a Superbill, which contains all of the services provided for your insurer to pay you back. Another option is the use of Health Savings or Flex Spending Accounts.
